The commonality between the month of Ramadan and the season of Lent is that believers are asked to give some things up that they like. The respective clergy will often note that these sacrifices can serve as a form of rejuvenation which will mold the adherent into a better person.
Adult Film Actress Rae Lil Black Takes Shahadah
Every sinner has a past and we always have the opportunity for self-improvement while we're still breathing. I'm normally skeptical of celebrity conversions; but in the graceful spirit of Ramadan, allow me to welcome Sister Rae Lil Black with open arms. If Muslims can celebrate the conversion of men who are quasi-Nazi streamers, human trafficking pimps, and rappers with lyrics dedicated to profanity, violence, and drugs, then we can certainly welcome Rae Lil Black with a warm embrace. She has provided so much (momentary) joy to so many in her previous career as a star in adult films. No one ever asks men for their body count when they take Shahadah and hers should be irrelevant.
Let's pray that she remains firm upon faith and makes the most of her new beginning and stay as far away as possible from North American and British Dawah Bros. Out of a spirit of selfless kindness, I'll generously offer my help if asked. If they're gonna have DJs, music, and bootyshaking for the Brotherhood sessions at MAS-ICNA, I say why not invite this sister to come and give her testimony.
In a month spent on our knees, my prayer is that the blessings Rae Lil Black is praying for bounce back for her.

Wyatt Hendrickson Makes History
[youtube=
Sometimes you need to move to improve. Wyatt Hendrickson, also known as Captain America, wrestled at the United States Air Force Academy and finished third in his previous two appearances at the NCAA Wrestling Tournament. This year, he was allowed to enter the transfer portal, and join head coach David Taylor at Oklahoma State.
This was Taylor’s first year at Oklahoma State. He had one of the best collegiate careers in history for Penn State, won some world championships and an Olympic gold medal, and was offered a boatload of money to replace the legendary John Smith. Taylor had to move from Pennsylvania to Oklahoma to move on to the next stage of his journey. Hendrickson had to take a leave from the Air Force to try and improve as a wrestler.
Standing in the way was 2020 Olympic gold medal winner Gable Steveson. He'd taken a few years away from wrestling to pursue a career in the WWE, train in MMA, and even try out for the Buffalo Bills. He decided to return to the University of Minnesota this year and attempt to use his remaining year of eligibility to win a third NCAA wrestling championship. Gable had dominated all opponents this year and was heavily favored to win.
Wyatt Hendrickson had other plans. In an epic heavyweight battle, with both President Donald Trump and Elon Musk in attendance, Hendrickson wrestled an extremely smart and disciplined match and pulled off the upset.
Now, Hendrickson will stay in Oklahoma until 2028 in an attempt to train for and make the Olympic team, Taylor has answered the doubters and has certified himself as a legitimate head coach and an eventual threat to the reign of Cael Sanderson and Penn State, and Gable Steveson can now move on to a career in MMA.
Move to improve and invest to be blessed.
